History
Overton was settled in 1869 by Mormons, who had to ward from intense
heat, Indian attack and drought. The region then became of a part of
Nevada when the settlement was abandoned in 1870. It is also known as
the site of the lost city which had the prehistoric community of 10000
to 20000 people.

main tourist attractions in Overton, Las Vegas. The lost city
museum which was formerly known as Boulder Dam Park Museum is one of
the best tourist attractions in the city of Overton. There are many historical buildings present in Overton.
